Arrest in Livery Driver Murder

From myfoxny.com:
A passenger in a livery cab shot the driver in the head late Sunday night in The Bronx.

Jose Pena-Seguira, 42, died at Lincoln Hospital a short time later. The shooter tried to get away, but cops say he was caught inside a nearby park.

Police arrested Benny Delgado, 31. Delgado is being held, and it's not clear if he had an attorney.

The shooting happened in front of 455 Wales Avenue in the Mott Haven section of the borough.

Police investigators are looking into the possibility the shooter is the same person behind another deadly shooting last week in The Bronx.

A 46-year-old livery cab driver was also shot and killed.

"The Bronx has become the most unsafe borough for cabbies this year," NYS Federation of Taxi Drivers spokesman Fernando Mateo spokesman said Monday. "Drivers are simply scared and no one deserves to work under these conditions."
